Applications are invited from qualified and experienced Advocates for engagement as Legal Advisor of Mir Chakar Khan Rind University of Technology, Dera Ghazi Khan, for a period of two (02) years, in accordance with the Punjab Local Government Legal Advisor Rules, 2003, and the Standing Instructions of the Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department, Government of the Punjab, vide letters No. Gen:2-1/2008/1941 dated 14.05.2011 and No.SO(ADMN-III):Misc/2025/1100 dated 17.03.2025.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- The candidate must possess an LLB degree along with a valid license to practice as an Advocate.
- The applicant must be an enrolled Advocate of the High Court under the Legal Practitioners and Bar Councils Act, 1973 (XXXV of 1973).
- Must have at least ten (10) years of active practice as an Advocate of High Court immediately before the last date fixed for the receipt of applications.
- Must possess sound knowledge of laws relating to educational institutions, service matters, contracts and administrative affairs.
- Those having experience of working as Legal Advisor with public sector/autonomous organizations shall be preferred.
- The engagement shall be on a part-time basis for a period of two (02) years, as per government instructions.

General Conditions:
- The applicants who already applied for this post in response to IPL No.6102 dated 10-11-2025 need not to apply again. However, they can submit updated CV/Resume in the Registrar Office without additional fee before the closing date.
- Remuneration shall be paid on a case-to-case basis in the light of the approved rates fixed by the Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department, Government of the Punjab.
- Candidates already in service of Government/Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must apply through proper channel by the closing date; otherwise, their applications shall not be entertained.
- The University reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.
- Applications received through Registered Mail/Courier shall be considered. By hand applications will not be accepted.
- Incomplete or late applications shall not be entertained.
