PwC Poland's Transaction Services team consists of over 30 people dealing with the financial due diligence of companies that are to be the subject of M&A transactions. In the course of financial due diligence work, we assess the financial condition of the company, thoroughly analyzing its profit and loss account, balance sheet, and cash flow, as well as all key parameters relevant to a given business and for our client. We strive to identify potential risks that may be significant for the buyer in making an investment decision and have an impact on the company's valuation. We analyze companies from many sectors, thanks to which we learn various business models and approaches to financial management. We are looking for a Manager for our team.
Your future role will include:- Leading financial due diligence projects in the largest transaction team in Poland, carried out for leading and most renowned strategic investors and private equity funds; these projects will be for both buyers and sellers.
- Preparing complex analyses and significant sections of client reports, including identifying value drivers (e.g., EBITDA, net debt, working capital), assessing real profitability, and key risks of the analyzed business.
- Preparing due diligence analyses of companies from various sectors.
- Managing and supervising team work.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an audit department or transaction services team.
- Experience in financial due diligence projects (mandatory).
- Very good analytical skills and a high level of interpersonal competencies.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated knowledge of new technologies and AI-based tools in daily work (e.g., task automation, information analysis, content creation).
- Fluent in English and Polish.
- Experience in team management and project work.
- Characterized by great independence in action and good work organization.
