Key Responsibilities: This role reports to the Legal Manager. This role is responsible for reviewing, revising, negotiating and advice on requests for proposals, non-standard client agreements for the Assurance, Advisory and Tax Lines of Service, master services agreements, engagement letters, subcontracts, nondisclosure agreements and other types of agreements consistent with the firm’s risk management standards while also considering applicable legal, regulatory and professional standards, often on a time sensitive basis. The role is also responsible for carrying out a gap analysis between the firm’s risk management and local law and ensuring that supplemental policies are drafted accordingly.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Educational and Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor of Law Degree
- Qualification in a Sub-Saharan African country
Experience & Knowledge
- 4 years of experience with at least three years of prior experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts.
